Asian Society for Pediatric Infectious Disease

The Asian Society for Pediatric Infectious Disease (ASPID) was formed in 1994 with the aim to promote the advancement of knowledge and expertise in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of paediatric infectious disease in Asia through seminars, workshops and other scientific meetings and to encourage collaborative national and multinational researches on paediatric infectious diseases of high priority. The society has members from all over Asia Pacific including Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Philippines, Malaysia, Saipan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Thailand, among others.
