Dear Colleagues,
It gives me great pleasure to announce that the 6th Asian Congress of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (ACPID) will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 28 November to 1 December, 2012.
The organizing committee of the Sri Lanka College of Paediatricians has planned an excellent scientific programme that covers important aspects of paediatric infectious diseases. In addition to the 3-day congress, pre- congress workshops on important topics will also be conducted. It is envisaged that the dissemination of new knowledge from experts in the field will help safeguard our children by a rational approach to the prevention and management of paediatric infectious diseases.
In addition to the Scientific Programme, exciting and memorable social events are being planned. I wish to invite each and every one of you to participate in this Congress and experience the warm hospitality and the rich cultural heritage of Sri Lanka.
